Developed by DestinationiQ, this innovative campaign showcases Colorado’s breathtaking nightscapes, encouraging travelers to explore lesser-known rural areas while fostering sustainable, low-impact tourism.
Through compelling storytelling, strategic partnerships, and immersive digital experiences, the campaign successfully highlighted Colorado’s certified International Dark Sky Places and other prime stargazing locations. By blending conservation messaging with adventure tourism, Colorado Stargazing not only inspired visitors but also supported local communities and preserved the state’s natural beauty for future generations.
Davey Award in Travel & Tourism Video Production
George Bruce Wilson, owner of Three Peaks Films and DestinationiQ partner, was awarded the coveted Davey Award in the Travel & Tourism category for his exceptional promotional videos for Beaver County Tourism.
The winning collection of videos, funded by a generous Traditional Co-op Marketing Grant from the Utah Office of Tourism, captures the essence of this inspiring region by taking viewers to otherworldly rock formations, on captivating off-road outings, through scenic water recreation at Minersville, Puffer, and Tushar Lakes, and on lung-pumping hikes to soaring mountain peaks.
